I just have to get networked with a circle of freinds again. It just kind of freaked me out the number of girls I meet that are already married or engaged. It's the age group I tell you. Here's an example. I'm in the local hang out and spy this cute girl I used to work with when I was a teen. About my age, and a sweet personality. I get the look and the smile and move over to talk with her. We get a good conversation started and I'm thinking it's all good. All of a sudden I feel someone behind me and she's looking over my shoulder all worried. Well, who should be behind me but her husband/fiance/boyfreind/whatever, and he's throwing a FIT! He's about a foot shorter and skinny and throwing a drunken tantrum like a kid. Well, she chases off to console him and I'm sitting confused. While she's consoling him she looks at me again. I'm not sure how involved they are, so I make a motion to ask for her phone number. She smiles and thinks for about a full minute before shaking her head no. I shrug my shoulders and move on. This type of thing is happening to me constantly. It's like, nobody is available. Well, maybe it's time to try for the younger girls. I'm on a diet to lose the roll in the middle and back on weight training again. I guess I have to compete with the young bucks in their early twenties.
