I'm sure that I don't have this mod but he offers himself to join me, but I refused him and I don't know if you can get him or that he refuses later in the conversation. Didn't anybody had the same?
When I leave the temple of loth (I think after the demon summoning ritual) he asks if he can join me. This is really weird, though. I'm in chapter 2 now but I go and see if it happens again when I've done some quests.
