Six,
ALL the 10th level spells (the Mage's High Level Ability picks, except the extra spells) are actually considered as a 9th level spells - they take level 9 slots! How rude!

Thus, if at level 18 i choose Timestop as a spell, and Improved Alacrity (assuming sorcerer, but also true for mages) as an Ability, and i have 3 casting of level 9 per day, and i'll cast Timestop, i will be able to cast two more Timestops
or Improved Alarcrity.
Simple, eh?
