Why only 3 chains? The Chain can contian other things, not only ADHWs...
There is also another factor you forgot to add in, the enemies' magic resistances. With the RATI tactic, you can sprinkle the love around, as you rapid fire Lower Resistances left and right. With the CC-Bomb, you have to pray it bypasses their magic resistancess.
Good point, but usually when it comes to tough fight, i always prepare a spell trigger with 3x Lower Resistance. Shoot it first, and no praying is needed

.
You want to cast Wish? What if you get interrupted? ... The horror. At least with the RATI method, the enemy can do jacks*** as you swiftly administer arcane buttkicking.
I meant that i'll cast the Wish AFTER the fight. Even so, at tough fights, when you actually needs to renew your spells during the fights, your sorcerer is defended so well, he is unlikely to be interrupted, or even targeted at the first place (well, unless you have the sola mod

).
Note that there are four units in ToB that are immuned to Time Stop, but three of them are in the last chapter, with the third being the boss of Watcher's Keep.
That's another factor - it's in that fights when you'll need all the help you can get - and the CC-bomb (nice expression!)
WILL help there.
