I fully agree with you, Wulfere!!
A movie is just a different medium than a book, accept the fact. I think the people who are making this movie are being VERY true to the spirit of the books, and their integrity is obvious from the fact that they have actually listened to petitions and suggestions from fans. They had a few ideas in mind for the movie which they abandoned when the fans asked them to, and I think, judging by trailers, screenshots and the like that they are making a wonderful movie! Have you seen the orcs??? Have you seen how glorious Rivendell looks? How good the cast is? They are all very experienced actors, not Hollywood stars, but people who come from prestigious acting schools, and who have played in many famous plays. Did you know that the ones who play Elves actually got lessons to learn how to speak Elven?
I can't wait for the movie and hate the fact that we'll have to wait for three years to see the complete thing... I have very high hopes of it, and will definitely be there at the premiere in my country! [img]smile.gif[/img]
