Sounds like she has self-diagnosed and self-treated herself all in one step. That's usually a sign that she read a book on psuedo-medicine or took a line from an herbal-pharmacist. Hopefully she's not spending untold amounts on herbal treatments too. (I know someone who does this and it always makes me cringe) It's funny how most "cure" diets are simply nothing more than the same healthy balanced diet that doctors and the FDA have been pushing for years. They just put some subtle twists on the wording.
