Here's a great way to make some cash without cheating and you get to keep ypur sweet shit.

First you need a thief.

GO to a store where you can steal, sell one of your expensive items, then steal it back, and save the game.

Repeat with another item of high monetary value.

Ok this may take some time with a lot of reloading, but you'll have to SAVE after every success. If you have patience and don't like cheating, you can get rich this way and it's 100% LEGIT (albeit quite illegal hehe).
