Are you sure Robe of the Good Magi gives a saving throw bonus? I remember reloading after I first bought that robe because I wasn't impressed with it.

I ended up putting a Bracer of Defense AC 3 on her and just going on my way. Its some good when you can get a single class mage's armor class down to -1 permanently and as low as -9 against certain weapons thanks to other trinkets.

If it gives a saving throws bonus then it probably is worth it. I don't know how I missed that...
