Hey everyone. I just won BG2!

I know having an extra 5 custom characters is bound to be powerful, but after what I just went through finishing this thing for my first time, I can only guess that you guys are either awesome players or are on a lower difficulty or autopause. I played on normal, real time with a Mage. I got her and Imoen to level 17 each and had 3 Time Stop scrolls, Spelltrap, Absolute Immunity, etc. With a Chain Contingency Storing two Limited Wishes(for Time Stop and Wail of the Banshee) and a Simulacrum. Each had a Spell Trigger and a Minor Spell trigger and a basic Contingency with more defensive spells. Fortunately I got lucky and won the battle on the tree with two Time Stops left. That is all that saved me in the battle in hell.

My mouse fingers are throbbing and I swear I can recite the verbal component of every spell in the game in my sleep. Every time I thought this game was over it just kept on going.

Overall this has been one of the hardest games I've ever played, and certainly the longest and hardest RPG. I can't imagine winning on the hardest difficulty without custom characters.

Mosts/Bests

Most Reloads:
1, Jon Irenicus(Tree of Life battle, Contingency/Time Stop show down)
2, Adamantine Golemns(any time)
3, Jon Irenicus(Hell)
4, Mind Flayers/Illithids(Underdark)*
5, Beholders/Elder Orbs/Gauth(Underdark)*

* I'm comparing the whole missions to individual fights.

Best Game-Generated Character:
Valygar(Family equipment among the best in the game, no searching to get the power...)
Jaheira
Imoen()
Yoshimo(darn shame he is a backstabber)

Most Powerful spells:
Chain Contingency
Time Stop
Spell Trap
Horrid Wilting
Summon Nishryu
