Sephi stands up in his room, wide awake, turning over the events of the day in his head. Glancing outside, he realized it was time for his final rounds, and left his room to check on his two companions.
First he went to check on Neb. When he got there, he found Neb struggling to get up and walk towards the door. He walked over and supported Neb, making sure he didn't fall. Then, after Neb recovered somewhat, they both went over to Kaz's room.
They found her... gone. Her familiar had taken flight, and most of her gear was left behind, still strewn about the room. She had abandoned her most powerful artifacts for some reason, and left her companions behind. Well Sephi wasn't about to lose her. Alright, let's start searching for her. Where do you think she would have gone? If she thinks that she can just leave me behind, she's sorely mistaken!
