Yes you do, but you can choose to give 200 pounds of fake Illithium to Sir Sarles, instead of the real one. He will notice that it is fake, though, and refuse to make the staute, which the helmites will only be glad for. 
So keep the real one to yourself, and give the fake one to Sir Sarles. [img]smile.gif[/img]
