Encard shouts when he sees the enemies burst in, then hastily puts up a protective magical shield. He growls, then shouts something in an arcane language and a beam of red light rushes from his hands to strike one of the soldiers, detonating him with an explosive burst of flame. Unfortunately, the magitek armor protected the rest of the army from most of the damage, and some of them turned their weapons on Encard. He thought for a split second, then closed his eyes and concentrated. There was a wrenching sensation for a moment, and then the powers of entropy Encard had summoned drained away all the non-standard protection the armor of many of the soldiers offered, leaving them with nothing but the purely physical protection of its materials. Unfortunately, Encard was suddenly smashed back a blast of energy that, although it didn't pass his shields, had sufficient force to kncok him and his shields backwards. Encard got up again, and surveyed the room for a moment, then launched a small fireball at the enemy...
