You are about to be entrusted with a BIG responsibility.
Out of the guild/clan masters who have come forward and identified themselves, I have selected the following:
- OHF - Rikard (Ertai is already a mod so he is excluded)
- ALSB - Avatar
- HADB - AzureWolf, caleb
- ORT - otp, Davros, Beaumanoir
- Laughing Hyenas - Yorick
- IW Peacekeeping Force - Conan
- One-Eyed Wolf - Killing Spree
- Keldorn's Order - Sir Byronas
- Ranger-Protectors of the Ironworks - Legolas the Elven Archer
- Wizards - Montravant/Secret Master
We've all read Ziroc's thread on the
War Against Spam. Although a teeny bit of

is good for the soul, I'm sure that we are all united in our agreement that we do not want it to grow to endemic proportions in our forum. We must respect the rights of others to have serious conversations if they wish. Moderation, commonsense and respect for others are our weapons in this war!
So as part of your guild's civic responsibility to Ironworks, all guildmasters are to be entrusted with a great responsibility in this war against spam. You are all to be made SPAM SENTINELS.
What is the role of the SPAM SENTINEL? They are RESPONSIBLE and ACCOUNTABLE for ensuring that their guildmembers:
- do NOT spam other, serious threads with guild wars and other nonsense;
- maintain ALL clan discussions to their designated clan thread and NOWHERE else;
- their clan threads do NOT contain spam of the type that Ziroc identified.
This is now a CONDITION for maintaining a guild at Ironworks and I believe it is very fair.
With great power comes great responsibility, and I think you guys are up for it!

We will hold GUILDMASTERS responsible for any breaches of the protocols I outlined above, so make sure your members know the rules. The buck stops with YOU!
Help us to ensure that our forum is a clean, comfortable and happy place to post, which caters for all types of people.
Guildmasters please reply to this thread to indicate that you have read and agreed to the above. If your reply is NOT here and your clan is NOT listed above then expect your threads to be deleted without notice.
Looking forward to your cooperation.
