The rest of her body continues to tremble, apart from her clamped hands. Her heart beating as rapidly as possible without actually exploding, she struggles to find words to her emotions.
"I don't really know...I just know that I wish to be by your side..." ~ She chokes on her words, her cheeks turning scarlett ~ "But I'm so frightened... I don't know what to do... I don't want to hurt you, neither do I want to get hurt..." ~ She shudders ~ "You must be wishing you'd have been better off not knowing me..." ~
Realising that she is babbling incoherently, she pulls her hands away from his and covers her face completely. With increased agitation, she jumps from her seat and runs to the wardrobe on her right, hiding her face against it.
