Dalglish. No. Don't know anyone with that name. You should try Scotland - the name is spelt 'Dalgliesh' or 'Dalgleish' there, I think, and I should imagine that is where her family originated. Thank you, Flotsdale. There is no need to go through any trouble. If I had insinuated that my grandmother had been Scottish, she would have been quite irate. I was just curious to know if that is a common name. I would love to visit Birmingham because my grandmother (Louise Daglish Weisenberger) grew up there and when she was homesick, she would tell me about how she met my grandfather in England. He was a WWII American Serviceman (Tailgunner for B17 I think).
