All parents are deeply fearful of something being wrong with their child, Duktanor. Mostly the fears are unfounded. Sometimes they are real. None of us can say which is the case with your son.
But my eldest child could barely stand when she was a year old, and she was almost 18months before she could walk without holding on.

As others have said, children develop at different rates. Your son may just be developing a little more slowly than the majority.
