Longevity.
The following is a story my grandfather told me. “Shortly after the turn of the last century I was talking to a cowboy. ‘Louise you’re a pretty old fellow. Most of your contemporaries are dead. They died of gunshot, illness, or accidents. How come you’re still alive? Wal he said I always puts a pinch of gunpowder in ma meal.’ I thought about what he had told me and decided there was nothing to harm me, so why not.” Well my grandfather died a couple of years ago. He was 97, and he left 9 children, 25 grand children, 49 great grand children and a 15-foot hole in the side of the crematorium.
