Why are you telling us that you don't like BG II? This is a BG II forum. (in case you hadn't noticed) and (I speak for myself here, but I think others would agree) I don't believe it is a prudent (or polite) thing to do to mouth off about BG II, as the people here LIKE it. It's as pointless as going to a cat forum and declaring that you hate cats. All it does is provoke annoyance.
Correct me if I'm wrong, Kronostia, but I have a sneaking suspicion that he (Kronostia) visited the NWN forum, saw the thread that Megabot posted about NWN that turned into a long debate, and thought it might be interesting to bring the same kind of controversy and discussion here. Am I right? I am happy to apologize to you if you are innocent, Kronostia - the timing and tone of your post just seemed too coincidental, that's all. I can put two and two together fairly easily.

The problem with that technique, Kronostia, is that NWN is still relatively new to a lot of people - opinions are still divided as to how people are finding it. The BG series, on the other hand, have been proven to be popular over a period of over three years. There is already a huge user base for Infinity Engine games. Also, it's been such a long time since the game's been released that it's obvious that posts like this are just fishing for responses - like a dog still searching for a bone three years later.

For the record, I've seen about a dozen posts like this in the year and a half that I've been moderating here and most have been fairly civil - people can post their opinions of the game, positive or negative, as long as they a) back it up; and b) refrain from personal abuse. Don't let your passions for the game overwhelm your respect for others.
