An American Famer in America wanted to know how cold the forthcoming winter is so he sent his son to the local Indian to ask. The Indian looked out of his tent and said that he was unsure and told the boy to come back in a few days time.
The boy went back and his father put on more hay just in case.
Days later the boy returned and the Indian said the winter would be colder than usual. SO the boy went back and the father put on more hay...
Still unsure the boy went again and Indian said that he forsees a VERY cold winter. The father puts up even more hay!
Curious, the boy goes to Indian and asks how he can predict the weather.
The Indian reluctantly leads the boy up a hill and points towards the far distance. The boy could see his own farm...
The Indian saids: "White man puts on lots of hay"
