I've done Jan's quest involving Lissa. I've also defeated the mind flayers in the Hidden. What I want to know is, if you don't do the Hidden by yourself will something prompt you to do it? After all, you get "help" from one of the illithid to save Jaella... Personally, I would've rather helped the Githyanki and the Thumb... Woah, there are definately too many people with "the" in their names... And I'm not even going to mention the Simbul or the Xanthar (Or whatever the beholder thief-slaver-etcetera organization below Waterdeep is called.)
But I ramble.
I feel like Noober.
