If it was a sig test, I'm not surprised it disappeared. Here's our policy on sig tests:
Posting a message to Test your sig is fine, but you only need to use up 1 post. You can edit your 1 post as many times as you wish. there is no need to post 10 messages testing your sig. Also,
once you get it fixed, Delete the test post. (You can delete your own posts).
Since you didn't delete it, someone probably deleted it for you. Wasn't me, though.
