AXIOMS FOR THE DAY:
He who laughs last...................... thinks slowest.
Everyone has a photographic memory.......Some just don't have film.
A day without sunshine is like...........well, night.
On the other hand.....................you have different fingers.
Change is inevitable..................except from a vending machine.
I just got lost in thought...............It was unfamiliar territory.
When the chips are down..................the buffalo is empty.
Seen it all, done it all.................can't remember most of it.
Those who live by the sword..............get shot by those who don't.
I feel like I'm diagonally parked........in a parallel universe.
He's not dead.............he's electroencephalographically challenged.
You have the right to remain silent......Anything you say will be misquoted, then used against you.
I wonder how much deeper the ocean would be without sponges.
Honk.....................................if you love peace and quiet.
Despite the cost of living, have you noticed how it still remains popular?
Nothing is foolproof......................to a sufficiently talented fool.
It is hard to understand how a cemetery raised its burial cost.......... and blamed it on the cost of living.
Just remember ........................... if the world didn't suck, we'd all fall off.
The 50-50-90 rule:
Anytime you have a 50-50 chance of getting something right................there's a 90% probability you'll get it wrong.
It is said that if you line up all the cars in the world end to end...someone would be stupid enough to try and pass them.
You can't have everything..................where would you put it?
Latest survey shows that 3 out of 4 people........ make up 75% of the world's population.
The things that come to those who wait......... may be the things left by those who got there first.
A fine is a tax for doing wrong. .......A tax is a fine for doing well.
It was recently discovered that research causes cancer in rats.
I wished the buck stopped here...............as I could use a few.
I started out with nothing, .........and I still have most of it.
Light travels faster than sound. ...This is why some people appear bright until you hear them speak.
My apologies for the thread title being in all caps! I copied and pasted the title out of the e-mail I got it in and forgot the all caps rule until I saw it on the GD listings page! I am embarassed!
For all of you who said hello in the other thread the other day, let me now return a smiling howdy Y'all back at ya!

It is really nice to see all of you.
Epona, school is going great! I am making good grades (A's & B's) and am having a blast. In P.E. Thursday, we did a workout in the indoor olympic pool on campus. Palo Alto actually hosted some Olympic swimming event there in 1983 or 1993...I forget which but the banner still hangs on the wall behind the diving platforms. I got a great workout and had fun...I just need more body fat to help me stay afloat
Bahamut...yes, I actually thought of both of us when I read and posted "Don't cry because it is over, smile because it happened"

I hope you are still smiling, I know I am.
Peace, Love & Hugs, Everyone!
I am hitting the hay early tonight so that I can get the most out of my weekend.
(housekeeping and a trip into the city)
I also got word yesterday that in two weeks, my son will be arriving for a weekend visit on his way to Chicago. I can't wait! I'll be sure to get some pics of us so that I can show off the greatest thing in my life.
Oh yeah...that little yellow kitten we gave to Rex's parents some months ago, "E.V." got bitten by their dogs and he is back here at our house for good...he is too fond of their dogs to stay away from them. After a good shave of half his body, some antibiotic ointment and some liquid antibiotics, he's gonna live.
We also acquired a 5 week old gray striped kitten last week that is as big as any 8 week old kitten I have ever seen! We named him Itty Bitty, knowing he is going to be a giant LOL, but we are looking for a home for him and hope to see him off by Monday. Wish us luck!
12 cats is an insane amount to have on a half acre lot!
