We have the United States of America. However, true Americans are also Canadians, Brazilians, Chileans and Mexicans. Where are people from Southern America really from? Is an "ern" all that seperates an Argentinan from a Louisianan?

What will happen when Europe becomes the United States of Europe? (Which is the touted name) Will a Croat, Norwegian or Swiss no longer be able to call themself a European? How will confusion be averted?

The confusion of naming your nation after the continent it is created in.

What if Simon Bolivar had acieved his pan-American dream and unified the Spainish nations of the south? (of America that is... er hang on) Would we have had the United States of America II or the Confederacy of South America. Would a Brazilian then have been a South American?

Aaaaaarrrrg.
