Hello. I’m new here. Please excuse me while I state the obvious. I just found this forum today after browsing many times through the BG: TOB walkthrough. By way of introduction, I would like to say that I’ve been a D&D gamer for approximately 15 years so far and have played many computer D&D games and some tabletop roleplaying. What really caught my eye was the storytelling and roleplaying I witnessed in a few threads. The names that I can remember include Larry and Killing Spree. The posts were very well written and quite entertaining.
On a War game forum I frequent, we have a FAQ thread and I helped come up with an interesting way to keep it bumped to the top of the forum. We would come up with small segments of an ongoing story and newcomers would supply portions of it.
I would like to commend the various authors and contributors to the thread that had a virtual “bar”. I loved the clan warfare of sorts and the creativity was quite awe inspiring.
Since I am new, I have some questions and would be most grateful for a bit of help:
1. Do the Clans/Guilds only have to do with multiplayer games?
2. Which thread or group would be most welcoming to a newcomer to the storytelling? I have much to contribute but am a bit hesitant to jump in.
