okay, earlier this week i posted a thread asking for help on a multi i'm working on. i have now done all those steps, reset it to a 450 cache, but i have a problem still. to test my new settings, i tried loading a game using the TCP/IP function just to see if it would work. it didnt, and it instead decided to lock up like the crappy, 56k-equipped WinME using hunk of scrap that it is! however, i installed the DirectX patch BEFORE i installed TotSC because it said not to if i hat TotSC installed... should i ignore this warning and just install it anyways? this is a bg1 multi, btw, if that makes any difference.
