(Parts of this were also posted on the "KFA pt. 2.1" thread, but I decided to repost here so that all might see it)
Hi, I'm back and I'd like to apologize for being out off touch the last couple of days. Between work, my brother going to the hospital (he's OK, thanks), a great aunt's funeral, and, to top it all off, me getting a very *nasty* upper respiratory infection that's left me in bed all day, this is the first chance I've had to read/post.
I see that the KFA has disbanded - that's OK with me, too. It was only intended as a joke and all jokes get old with time. I would like to compliment those on my "side" and Larry for some wonderful attempts at roleplaying. I say "attempts" because, without pointing any fingers, I have also seen too many appalling cases of munchkinism and powergaming and I now understand that it is too difficult for a true roleplayer to function against them without either ignoring them or stooping to their level.
I would like to apologize to Ziroc and the other mods for my role in the chaos that ensued. It was never intentional. Please let me know if there's anything I can do to help clean up.
And now it's time for the epilogue - this doesn't *actually* happen, but I just couldn't resist
From out of the wreckage of the KFA crawls two bedraggled figures. They may be recognized as Desuma and Drongo. The tops of their heads pop open and two small white rodents emerge.
"Rats," says the shorter of the two mice, "foiled again. Oh, well, come Pinky, we must return to the lab to prepare for tomorrow night."
"Why, Brain," Pinky says, "what are we going to do tomorrow night?"
"The same thing we do every night - try to take over the world!"
As the scene fades to black singing may be heard:
"They're Pinky, they're Pinky and the Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain,
Brain, Brain, Brain, Brain, NARF!"
