You're right, i forgot to mention that i'm in a party of six.
The party is:

Cavalier
Fighter/Mage
Fighter/Thief
Stalker(13)->Cleric
Archer
Sorcerer
So i have 4 characters with tanking capabilities, thus no need to sacrifice dual-wielding for a sheild, right?
