Indeed, you can have some SERIOUS fun playing with the different Avatars. I like putting the Shadow Thief one on my Thief, especially if I'm using an Assassin. (gotta slow down the walking speed, though.) Other ideas would be to use a Djinn (the one with feet) for a Kensai specialized in Katana or Scimitar, or an Ogre-Mage.

But you've gotta be careful--you can turn you party into a group of Moose, Snakes, and Chickens, but none of those animations contain frames for "casting a spell," so as soon as you try casting something, crash goes your game.
