On one perfect sunday a head pastor of a church decided to go golf instead of give his surman, he called the church and said he was very sick, one of the other pastors agreed to fill in for him.
He put his clubs in the car and drove 100 miles to a course so that no one would recognise him.
an angel and god were watcing him, when he was walking up to the first tee the angel said to the lord, "he should be punished for doing this, playing golf instead of giving his surman."
The lord repled "he will be"
The pastor teed up his ball on the 400 yard par 4 and took his first swing, he hit a perfect drive. When he got to the green he noticed that he had hit a hole in one, he then started celebrating.
The angel watching said to the lord, "I thought you were going to punish him"
The lord replies "who can he tell"
