have you seen the psionics section in the first edition ad&d players handbook, or the 2nd edition ad&d complete psionics handbook. Both of these detail models for a psionic character of any class. The psionics handbook treats its as a seperate class that can be a dual/multi class. I havent read to much of the 3rd edition so I doint know how psionics are treated in that series.
