Correct, it is lvl 8. It is called Abi-Dalzim's Horrid Wilting.  A good spell indeed, but I like more the spells that insta-kills, like Disintegrate, Finger of Death, etc. It is also fun with spells that deals out ALOT of damage, but not necessarily kills, like the ToB-spell Dragon's Breath (20d10, IIRC).
