And to add: If you are going to take em on early in the game.. one spell is some whopp-arse vs. THOSE Mind Flayers... CLOUDKILL.... have a mage that you Chaotic Command charge into the room, send off a wand/spell of cloudkill then shut them in the room... they will all slowly die.. MWHAHAHAHA!
