Actually, you don't need to add Cernd to do the Trademeet quest (you lose out on a little xp, but not too much). It's hilarious; I added Cernd, and he had problems fighting the boss of that quest. As soon as I DIDN't add him, he whipped her butt easily. Go figure. I guess I just need to invite him to show up (without adding him) when I go fight Kangaxx or the Twisted Rune.

Your party is well-balanced, but any time you mix good and evil you are in for some fireworks. Just warning you. I'm doing it now (one evil, two good) in my neutral party, but this is because I finished the game and know which ones will lose it with one another. Jan is correct; you are in for some REAL fun later. However, this also leads to some interesting interactions, so as long as you quick-save regularly (like every few minutes, especially later in the game) you should be fine.

Aerie was in the party that I finished the game with, and she was absolutely solid. Because she backs up both cleric and mage, this allows you to get by with only one of each other than her. This then takes up 3 party slots, and allows you to add two fighter-types other than you. Or you can add another mage (I was an archer my first time through, so I kept Nalia and Imoen both on for mage firepower). I believe in playing with 1 1/2 (at least) in both cleric and mage, so she fills the 1/2 slot perfectly. However, you have to understand one thing; you must give her all of the good missle and spell defence items in the game to keep her alive in some cases. In tough magical fights, an area effect like Horrid Wilting can take her out. She was the one I game the staff of the magi and Vecna's robe to (staff to keep her invisible thus safe, and robe because it speeds up ALL spells of person, cleric and mage both). If you use her right, and pay attention to her location and threat level in each fight, you'll be fine with her. Fail in that, and you'll be bringing her back to life pretty quick (Edwin can have the same problem, due to low stats).
