Unfortunately - no pics yet. We're working on that one.

As far as your ability to fight - leather armor is prevalent with most of the fighters. And there are women who fight (I'm one of them). The first event we went to had no jousting, but there was a girl there doing heavy combat. She did ok, and then, when we were all at the feast - she showed up in a gorgeous period dress! Several of us commented to her about being able to take on the men in combat and still look every bit a woman when it was over!

Seek out a local group and give it a try!
