Actually, I think that certain beach vacationers don't take the time out to educate themselves re sharks. Mainly sharks come out and feed in the morning, and then at sunset. I remember last year being at the Outer Banks in North Carolina, and around 6:00pm, all these four inch long fish stared just swimming and jumping out of the water all around me. At that moment, I thought to myself, I feel like I'm in the shark bait LOL, so I got out. I have to wonder if all these shark attacks have been occurring in the morning or the evening, and if that IS the case, then it is again, general knowledge not to go into the sea at those times, but I could be wrong. Maybe these attacks occurred at unusual times of the day, so no way for the public to know when it is a safe time or not to swim in the ocean. Definitely surprising to hear so many shark attacks this year no doubt.
