Sorry, got a little side tracked in my previous post, back to England V Germany. About bloody time! It was great to win and the cheers from my house(I had a "few" mates round and a "couple" of crates of lager) were heard several streets away. Being a spurs fan, I was sorry to see none of our players in there, but, much as I hate to say it I also thought Arsenal's Ashley Cole was scaring the crap out of the Germans with his forward runs. As for Liverpool, I've actually put money on them to win the premiership this season, Owen is in great form, Barmby is getting back to the peak he reached at tottenham in the early days and Gerrard is great(hopefully his injury problems are behind him now) but am I the only person who thought Heskey was useless on Saturday? He just didn't seem to want to run for the ball. Still, it's only one game and Germany are still three points in front. Seeing whats happened in the past with England beating great opponents, only to blow it against the teams we never even worried about, I think I'll wait until Albania and Greece are out of the way before I celebrate too early.
