Just think...NYC could be the home you would have to go home to from someplace else!
I am happy for you that there is something much more beautiful waiting down the road in time, happy that you got the oppurtunity to see The Big Apple and happy that I got the chance to see it through your eyes.
If it gets too hard to handle, remember, you always have Tennesee, South Carolina and Texas to bide your time in until you can return home.
