They can be trained to repeat simple commands - similiar to the African Grey, but less talented. However it's funny. I had a blue budgie a while ago that died from age - it used to mimic the kettle whistling.
Basically everytime I made a cup of tea. It whistled, then I fed it some treats. (loves cornflakes apparently
