True GR they aren't in any order. BUT..now here is the important part of the story : The ranks are meaningless. They are as jabidas points out, for fun, that's all. Z just adds them as he has time and I'm sure he doesn't have time to sit and think out the hierarchy before he does it! 
Besides, is an Egyptian god higher than an AD &D character? Who knows?! And more importantly...it doesn't matter! 
So just enjoy them and be glad you aren't staring at that blue fuzzy wolf face anyomore... like Lioness said! LOL
