Well, Thomas was threatened because he removed art, not showcased it. Someone was showing art that was against policy, so it was removed. Then whoever knows the artist that had his certain works removed threatened Thomas with bodily harm.
Thomas is a good guy, but he doesn't put up with crap like that, and frankly neither would I. This was his only logical move.
I agree with your points though, it is rediculous. Grand experiement indeed.
