CATS!!! For what other animal lets you live in your house, feed them and still lets you know that they allow you to be there? They are the ultimate snobs, yes can purr and be cuddly and wonderful. If a dog could purr, well, things may be different... but they DON'T! Ha!
Cats can be left alone for a day or two and don't tear up the house. They don't put muddy paw print on a clean rug. You don't need to walk a cat (in freezing temperatures or rain) to go to the litterbox...
