I bought BG2 the minute it came out in early October 2000 (?), and found IronWorks shortly after because the Trolls in Nalia's Keep kept killing my group no matter what I did.

I lurked for a long time, being very cautious about posting since most boards I'd been to were full of young teenage Trolls and Flamers. Ironworks not only was not that way, but the people were funny and intelligent and truly helpful. I only posted a few times on the blue board. Something about this one opened the floodgates tho. So in some ways yes, the board has gotten better. Getting new members really helps too.

I remember Memnoch, Moiraine, Yorick, The.Relic, LadyRae, Asphyxiate, Jerome ... they and so many more who really impressed me. It was people like them that kept me here.
