Profiles of the in-game romances...

Aerie--Avariel elf cleric/mage, found in the circus tent on the promenade. Lost her wings. Trying to deal with that loss. Will romance (I think) male humans, half-elves, elves, and halflings.

Viconia--Drow elf cleric, found in the Government District. Likes to run hot and cold on a love interest. Is disgusted by 'weak' PCs. Will romance (I think) male humans, halflings, gnomes, and half-orcs, although half-orcs only with the Baldurdash patch.

Jaheira--Half-elven fighter/druid, found in Irenicus' Dungeon in a cage. Has a long history with the PC. Will romance (I think) male humans, half-elves, elves, and halflings.

Anomen--Human fighter/cleric, found in the Copper Coronet in the slums. Is a silly pompous neutral jerk, but gets over it with time. Will romance female humans, half-elves, elves, and halflings.

As to time... depends on the romance. Seems about an hour between lovetalks. I know Jaheira has 35 conversations; the rest appear to have less.

There are now several (and will in the future be more) romances for BG2. Mods are being developed. For instance, Kelsey, a human sorceror, found in the Government District, will romance the same types of PCs as Anomen, and will squabble over her with the guy. Pretty fun.
