This was easily the strongest side that they have encountered thus far, and was always expected to be the biggest test outside of "the Tests" themselves. We actually for the first time, had participation from a few people who will be sitting on the benches for the Wallabies. I gather though, that they were up against a mostly "bench" combination from the Lions. I think the Lions tests should be "close fought" and exciting affairs

Well I hope they will be anyway, because that will make up for the lack of opposition when Steve Waugh's boys sweep the Ashes series again .

I haven't seen the match yet, but I have it on tape and will watch it soon. 1 thing you're right about though - It was really a Lions A/B side, with the exception of a couple of players. From what I've heard we didn't play too well either, and I think maybe a few people will have been ruled out of the test side. Anyway losing that might give us a bit of kick up the backside, I thnk we were mainly coasting before.

It was still a good side though, Australia A did well to... urgggg hate to say it *swallows pride... win.
