Actually Im looking forward to the new series. Im really keeping my fingers crossed on this one but I hope the characters arent as lilly livered as the characters on TNG. Lady hit the nail right on the head when she said annoying.
The fact of the matter is When Piccard gave an order SOMEBODY on his crew would argue with him about it>>>>>> thats called insubordination. Nobody had the guts to argue with Kirk cuz if they did theyd git thar ACE kicked. Piccard didnt have the strength of personality to command. So from that respect the entire series was a farce. Riker would have been a much better commander.
Lets hope the captain of the Enterprise has big cahonies and theres alot of espionage to keep him busy.
