I had long hair for twelve years - at one point down to my belly-button.
Last year I got it cut very very short. I found I moved my head quicker, used way too much much shampoo and would go to take my hair out of a ponytail all the time. I'll feel wierd lying down and felt totally disorientated. I'd look in the mirror and say "where did he go?"
It's growing back now though, even more than the photos on Stealthys site when I was at Moiraine and Luc's. The front now comes down to my cheek, just below the eye socket, but the curls take it back to mid to upper eye level.
The moral to this verbose tale?
I have enjoyed having shortish hair after long for so long.
Leonis did the chop as well, and his hair came back curlier.
It'll grow back. Don't go the wig, go funky hats!
