also if I remember correctly the year he scored 50 in 40 was the year he had what turned out to be a career ending hip injury. I still dont think the bruins have recovered from that. It forced them to make too many changes too early. But it did give young players like Jason Allison a chance to show what they had.
Bobby Clark was a great player but he is sure crap as a GM. I think I could do better lol. Get rid of Lindros for the 7th round conditional pick and if he plays an entire season make it a 1st rounder. if he scores 50 goals make it 2 firsts, if he scores 40 goals make it a second or 2 seconds... thats what conditional picks are all about>>>>> performance.
if he never plays again..... at least they got a pick for him --- give up the pick and he doesnt play exchange the pick for a player to be named from a list to be choasen later........
