Earthdog... Neely was a great player but never 50 goals in 40 games. He scored 50 in 50 games. The record is Gretzky 50 goals in 39 games. (he scored 5 in the 39th game vs the Flyers)
Again I am not saying anything against Neely and the Bruins but they had some pretty great teams but they ran into the Oilers and Islanders in the 80's. I agree with you about Lindros and The Flyers selling their team for him. He is/was a great player but his head is now far to prone to injury. The Flyers should fire Bobby Clark and rebuild from there if they want to improve imho.
