Well Planscape gave BG2 that full pause option unlike that one in BG1 where the game continued if you ventured into your inventory.

Planscape doesn´t use that many distance weapons so the view is more centered on the characters which gives it alittle awkward start so to speak if you´re used to BG and IWD..

Well, even the child of Bhaal have a tough quest against the nameless one..
