Um, I hope this isn't cheating, but here goes-
If you create your own party with multiplayer you tend to get characters with higher hit points. In a party with some fighters, I got a mage with 115 hit points, and another time, in a party with a lot of fighters, I got a monk with 90 something hit points. I think they put there so that people would enjoy playing multiplayer with characters that are equal, not with one person cortrollong a fighter with 120 hit points, and another player has to control some stinky bard with 40 hit points. Or maybe it's just a bug.
